The Tale of Little Bevan: "It was a full moon so I suppose we should've known. Nothing good happens on a full moon. Well, not in our village".He came one night. No-one could really remember quite when or from where. He just had so many stories you see. We forgot to ask for the details. "The Tale of Little Bevan" is a new play by award-winning writer Robert Alan Evans, made in collaboration with village hall promoters and rural communities. With live music and original songs, this darkly comic fairytale from this award-winning theatre company will make you question what community really means. Those who saw "Crossings" last autumn will know just what an outstanding theatre company Pentabus is.

Artsreach is a registered charity that works with a network of volunteers to bring high quality performances of live theatre, music, dance and family shows to the heart of rural communities across Dorset, including Halstock Village Hall.
